Position: Patient Services Representative II
Department: Front Desk
Location: Fresno (May travel to Clovis or Selma)

EYE-Q Vision Care is seeking applicants for the position of Patient Services Representative ll. The ideal candidate is someone with great interpersonal skills who can develop relationships with patients and staff. This position works closely with patients and visitors assisting with admission and registration functions. These procedures will require a technologically savvy candidate with world-class customer service skills.
Qualified candidates would be expected to:

Greet patients and visitors (vendors, etc.) in a courteous and professional manner.

Triage walk-ins and schedule as applicable.

Receive patient requests for forms and medical records and direct them to the appropriate staff to complete.

Cover both check-in and check-out processes: verify insurance, collect outstanding balances, post payments to practice management system, acquire estimates and quotes for the uninsured patients from coding staff, make appointments for return visits, obtain signatures for all applicable forms, update patient demographics, review appointment details, and assist patients with questions regarding insurance and balances.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Bilingual in Spanish

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Ability to use or learn computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, internet, e-mail, and NextGen.

Ability to manage stress and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED.
-
Six months to one-year related experience and/or technical school training.

Minimum two years of clerical or customer service experience (medical setting preferred).
Pay Range:
-
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience, skills, and education.
